Watched it on rented DVD last night.
So cutely funny that I was laughing all the way to the point that Ting had to shush me... LoL~
Anyway Ting was also laughing at the Easter Island Head. At its "Hey dum-dum! Me want gum-gum!", "You in trouble now, dum-dum. You better run-run from Atilla the Hun-Hun."

Watched it on HBO last evening.
The plot is predictable. Just like any kids' tale about being good and stuff. Only done in modern context.
Reminds me of the story of a childless king who wanted to find an honest heir in his country.
Distributed cooked seeds to all children in his land and declared that the heir would be the one whom cultivated the most beautiful flower amongest all.
On the presentation day, all children proudly held each's own flower pots bearing the most beautiful flowers.
Except one.
And you know the rest...
But its still worth watching... Johnny Depp looked so *squeal* in his Touya Akira (Hikaru no Go) hair...

| The Lift |

Ever met with this situation?
You’re on the ground floor of your office building, already late for work. Desperately staring at the indicator above the doors, like if you do so, your mind power will make the lift move faster.
The indicator showed that the lift halted on level 3 and then started moving down again.
The doors opened and there was someone, from your neighbouring office, in it. But she didn’t alight. Instead, she stared at you wide eyed, turned to look at the level indicator inside the lift, understood something, then held the doors open and waited for you to board.
Once inside, you saw that the button for level 6 was lit. You knew for sure she had pressed both the upward and downward buttons when she was on level 3.
Because, when the lift was going upwards, it stopped at level 3. Nobody was waiting at the lobby and she confidently closed the doors without even looking out of the lift to see if there was anyone.
Why had she done that?
Reason 1
The lift will come to her faster because she had pressed TWO buttons.
Reason 2
The lift was at a higher floor, so by pressing downwards, she was calling it to come down to her. And by pressing upwards, she was telling the lift that she actually wants to go up.
Reason 3
If an empty lift reaches her, she can speedily get into it, quickly press the button for level 6, and as such, she can intercept its movement downwards. The people downstairs can wait.
Why can’t these people press the correct buttons of whichever direction they want to go???
Press down if you want to go down!
Press up if you want to go up!
DAMN IT!!!

Was talking to my colleague about Karma today.
Don't hurt or take lives, especially tiny animals like cockroaches and ants and the like... or else the hurt you inflicted on them will come back to you one day...
But I'm sure everyone killed some ants before, especially when you were a kid.
There're some horrid stories. One was about how a man, who loved killing ants and slugs and others, finally gets his Karma...
I won't repeat the other stories in here...
I was like thinking 'Oh shit!' when I went through my list...
→ Pet fish (I've lost count of how many, but by the hundreds cuz my swordtails gave birth to around 60plus frys every fortnightly!)
→ Hamsters
→ Terrapins
→ Spiders
→ Earthworms
→ Aphids
→ Ants
→ Cockroaches
→ Mosquitoes
→ Flies
→ Unidentified flying insects
→ House lizards (killed under my 'orders')
→ Live prawns
→ Those two live crabs (maybe I should name them...)
→ That squeaky, rubber frog that used to stay at the bottom of my toybox >.>
So... when am I getting my Karma???
